About the Event
In The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney many of the characters have jobs they find unfulfilling such as Nnenna's part-time job at a fast-food restaurant, Joanie's work on crossword puzzles and Jonathan's ‘boring' job. These characters each desire more from their employment. We will be joined this week by Millie Seaward, the Senior Publicity Manager for Sphere and Dialogue Books and Rosanna Dickinson, partner in Clear View Books and a member of our Kingston Careers Team. Although there is a lot of book-related experience on offer, speakers will be looking much more widely; considering how to find fulfilling work and how to self-sustain in today's highly competitive and pressurized environment.
